On this vintage book page from 1909 titled Au Printemps ( In Spring) I have painted some of the tiny delights that can be seen in my field and garden at this time of year, from a little wren hopping about, to the violet and purple hues of bluebells, sweet violets and Speedwell and the white and yellow flowers of wild strawberry.
